July 8th: 7th Meeting

Thanks to Gayle, we began with a warm meal on a cool, drizzly evening.

We reviewed budget projections, which will form part of the information packet required by the Dioceses.

The parish brochure was the next subject of discussion.  Text was finalized, and arrangements have been made to select appropriate photos or to take them, (e.g., last Sunday).  A small committee has lined up all available expertise to get this job done.  It turns out that our congregation boasts quite a lot of talents.

Meanwhile, several improvements have already been made to the website.  Our final task is to construct a page describing the “experience” that visitors to St. Alban’s can expect.  Suggestions included welcoming, open to all, eager to meet you, and to guide you through the service.  Are there others?  Feel free to offer your own adjectives.

We were reminded that the deadline to submit search materials to the Diocese is July 20th, so our meeting on July 15th will be crucial.
